The VSI vertical shaft impact crusher primarily uses a belt-driven vertical shaft to rotate a flat component equipped with a vertical guide device. During rotation, material enters the machine chamber through the feed hopper and is divided into two parts by the distributor. One part enters the high-speed rotating impeller through the center of the distributor, where it is rapidly accelerated and then ejected at a speed of 60-70 m/s from the three evenly distributed channels of the impeller. This material first impacts and crushes a portion of the material falling from around the distributor, and then together they impact the material lining in the vortex chamber. Rebounded by the lining, the material impacts the top of the vortex chamber at an angle, changing its direction of motion and deflecting downwards. The material ejected from the impeller channels forms a continuous curtain of material. Thus, a piece of material undergoes two or more impacts, friction, and grinding within the vortex crushing chamber. The crushed material is discharged from the lower discharge port.
